Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
The percentage of recurring revenue retained from existing customers, including expansion revenue.
Net Revenue Retention measures how much revenue you keep and grow from your existing customer base, excluding new customers. An NRR above 100% means your existing customers are spending more over time (through upgrades, add-ons, or usage increases) even after accounting for churn and downgrades. Elite SaaS companies achieve 120-150% NRR. This is the single strongest signal of product-market fit and pricing power. Buyers on Enterpricr heavily weight NRR because it indicates the business will grow even without new customer acquisition.
